West Elm & Material Kitchen Holiday Workshop

About The Event ….

In collaboration with West Elm, Material Kitchen curated an intimate 20 person holiday workshop to help provide tips and tricks to streamline the holidays for guests. In an open ended class structure, we worked to create the perfect holiday spread in collaboration with the guests. We talked about the various advantages of certains products, where to source them and what identifiable qualities to look for when shopping ingredients. We utilized a series of Material Kitchen items from knives to tongs in order to show the full scale and range in which their kitchenware can provide confidence to any home cook and help clear the clutter out of anyone’s kitchen space. The guests participated in the preparation of several items throughout the class and encouraged a dialogue exchange between everyone’s holiday practices.

Upon entry, guests were greeted in the resplendent West Elm holiday house with a saffron and rose infuse botanist gin cocktail and spice mulled wine in order to set the holiday mood. Their interactive class was preceded by a communal collection of appetizers that the attendees prepared and time to ask the chef and team questions to help better inform their holiday routines and practices.
